Visa Requirements

1. Tourist Visa

  • Single entry visa: This visa allows you to enter Rwanda once and is valid for 30 days. The cost is $50.

  • Multiple Entry Visa: Available for 6-12 months ($100), 24 months ($150), and 36 months ($200).

2. East African Tourist Visa

This visa allows travel between Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. It is valid for 90 days and costs $100.

3. Visa-Free Entry

Nationals from countries such as Germany, Sweden, the UK, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Canada can stay in Rwanda for up to 90 days without a visa.

4. Visa on Arrival

Travelers from all countries can obtain a visa upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or any other entry point. However, it is advisable to secure your visa in advance to avoid any delays.

5. Application Process

You can apply for a visa online through the Rwanda Immigration website. Ensure you have a valid passport, a recent passport-sized photo, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.

Passport Requirements

1. Validity

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Rwanda.

2. Blank Pages
